From Mosman Wharf to Cremorne Reserve

New weekend new walk. This time we just had a busy weekend and because we were sleeping longer as expected after a big nite we decided to go just for a short walk to have time to go for a swim afterwards in the Milsons Point Olimpic Swimming Pool.

We decided to drive to Cremorne (Boyle Street) and then go along the harbourside to cremorne reserve and back. If not by car you might catch a ferry from circular quay to mosman bay wharf - the walk is a circuit so it will be the same way back by ferry.

The walk is easy and is very enjoyable. There are some nice places on the way to sit down an rest - along the Cremorne Reserve for example. If you get there check out the Lex & Ruby Graham gardens - a lovelly place.

The coffee
If you get thirsty or can’t wait to get a coffee there are some nice places for that - at the cremorne point wharf you ll get what you want (they have nice pastry) - sit down there and enjoy the view on the bridge and city and little ferrys.

The pool
Watch out for the lovelly MacCallum Pool along the path. It’s a nice harbour pool great for sunbathing in summer (maybee get bit crowded in summer). However - its green everywhere and there are impressive gardens all the way along.

Did you know
That in the 1890s a mining company wanted to transform cremorne point in a coal mine? There are coal resources at about 850 metres. After that walk you might just think: How can someone just think about doing that?
